The unit consists of a centrifugal pump provided with variable speed motor. The pump is provided with a vaccum gauge at suction and a pressure gauge on discharge pipe. The pump is provided with a variable speed drive & gate valve at discharge which facilitates estimation of pump performance at various speeds & discharge heads. Power input to motor is measure with energy meter.
