Ceramic Band Heaters

The ceramic band Heater design consist of a helically wound resistance coil made from Nickel-chrome wire, evenly stretched and precisely, strung through specially designed ceramic insulating bricks, forming a flexible heating mat. The ceramic heating mat along with ceramic fiber insulation is installed in a stainless steel housing made with serrated edges, providing maximum flexibility for easy installation. These are specially designed for energy conversation & improve the operation efficiency.

1. Maximum watt Density in comparison to mica band heater i.e. 50 watt/ inch2
2. By the use of higher temperatures a faster off sequence is possible.
3. It is particularly suited to heat the cylinder with working temperature upto 500 oc(Sheath temperature 800 0c.)
