Cetuximab

Cetuximab is the generic name for the trade name drug Erbitux®. In some cases, health care professionals may use the trade name Erbitux® or other name C225 when referring to the generic drug name Cetuximab.Cetuximab is an anti-cancer (“anti-neoplastic”) targeted therapy. This medication is classified as a “monoclonal antibody” and “Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) Inhibitor.” (For more detail, see “How this drug works” section below).
