Cf Flanges

We are offering cf flanges & fittings
cf vacuum flanges manufactured by applied vacuum technology are compatible with conflat® style flanges produced by other ultra high vacuum system manufacturers and are available in sizes from 1.33" od to 16.5" od in both rotatable and non-rotatable configurations.
Vacuum flanges 4 1 2" od and larger are made from specially processed 304l plate stock. We do not use plate which has sulfur and calcium injected to improve machinability as these impurities manifest themselves as slag pools when the material is welded. Further, we use type 304l for our vacuum flanges to minimize carbon precipitation at weld joints. Cf vacuum flanges are suitable for use from atmosphere to 1 x 10-13 torr and can be baked to 500°c.
All vacuum fittings are thoroughly cleaned before packaging and are ready for use as received. Copper gaskets are made from ofhc copper and are individually packaged ready for use.
Bolts are made from high tensile strength stainless steel which have thermal characteristics matched to those of the vacuum flanges. Screws for 2 3 4" od flanges and larger have external 12 point heads and are silver plated to eliminate the need for thread lubricant.
Washers are not required for 1.33" and 2 3 4" od flanges.
