Chaser Holder For Grooving Machine This invention relates to thread cutting devices and more particularly to improvements in means for mounting and adjusting thread cutting tools, or chasers, used in certain types of die-heads as well as to improvements in the chasers themselves. As is well known to those skilled in the art, die heads of the kind herein considered are provided with a plurality of cutter elements arranged to be held in operative cutting position during thread cutting and to be moved away from the work piece at the end of the thread. These cutter elements comprise a holder for receiving the tool or chaser, a clamp for clamping it in place, and, commonly, an adjusting screw abutting one end of the chaser directly for moving it longitudinally in the holder.
