Chequred Tiles

The proportion of cement to aggregate in the backing of the tiles are not leaner than 1:3 by weight.AIMS INDIA are manufactured by vibration method with the help of PVC moulds.

 

Where colouring material is used in the wearing layer,it  shall not exceed 10 % by mass of cement used in the mix. UV stabilized imported pigment of lanxes brand are being used for manufacturing of tiles.

 

 

Average Wear  1.7 to 2mm much below the required rate of 3.5 mm for non heavy duty and 2mm for heavy duty flooring as per IS 1237.

 

 

Less than 5% much below maximum of 10% allowed in IS 1237

 

 

      375 to 450 kgs/sqcm

 

 

35 to 45 Kgs/sqcm against 30 kg persqcm of IS specification.

 

 

Tolerances on length or breadth of tiles are +_ 1mm. In addition, the difference in length of side between the longest side and shortest side should not exceed 1mm.

Tolerance in thickness shall be + 5mm In addition the difference in thickness between the thickest and the thinnest tile in the sample should not exceed 3mm
