turmeric, garlic, onion and pepper). The chilli checker is developed based on an accurate and innovative technology
developed jointly with renown research institutions. it has been rigorously field tested with current hplc (chromatograph)
method and the results co-relate very well.
the checker is portable, easy to use,inexpensive and provides accurate readings. You will find it useful in your quality
control process for your chilli products. the measured unit is expressed in shu (scoville heat unit). current method used
is human tasting, which is inaccurate and highly subjective, and hplc (high performance liquid chromatography) which is
expensive, bulky and requires trained staff.
