Chimney

Thermodyne provides you CHIMNEYS as per your requirement. The flue gases produced in the boiler furnaces as a result of fuel combustion are exhausted in the atmosphere through a chimney. The purpose of a chimney is to discharge these gases to such a height so that they do not create a nuisance to the surroundings environments, generally as per the recommendation of local pollution control board norms.
Selection of correct chimney dimension like height, diameter, thickness etc. are vital in the performance of the boiler and also depend upon the type of boiler used, fuel being fired in the boiler furnace, fuel characteristics etc.. For boiler operating a natural drafts system the height & diameter of the chimney governs the quantity & flow of air through the boiler system and hence determines how efficiently the fuel is burnt.
Having established the required height of the chimney, the material of construction can be decided. The most common materials for a fire tube boiler are steel, concrete & brick.
Construction Information
The chimneys offered are generally in Mild steel construction. For special applications, chimneys in Stainless steel construction can also be offered. The chimney may be self-supported type or guy rope supported as desired. Accessories like base plate, ladder, lightning, flanges etc. can also be provided.
