Chrysanthemum is one of the most important flower crops commercially grown in different parts of the world. This flower produces more yields under Polyhouse / Greenhouse conditions compare to open field. Chrysanthemum flowers are mainly used for garland making, religious offerings & cut-flower in party arrangements. This flower needs long sunny day for its vegetative growth & while flowering stage it requires short day. Artificial lighting & darkening system is required to maintain required climatic conditions.
