With the use of Claymix solution as a liquid binder

Clay swells very fast (breaking the nodes) & Mixes uniformly, becomes very soft.
Improves plasticity & workability enabling smooth laying with a classic finish
Green materials dry up fast even in the winter season & become strong on drying, reducing breakages to negligible.
On burning, the materials burn uniformly, developing strong ceramic bonds, reducing the breakages & rejection to negligible.
Due to a decrease in the percentage of shrinkage and uniformity in the drying process problems of cracks, deformity in shapes and handling breakage are overcome.
Firing problems will be solved and the firing process will be under easy control because by use of "CLAYMIX" - the vitrification temperature range is extended and the melting point is pushed back.
So the firing achievements will be :

A. Improved fired strength	B. Reduced water absorption
C. Least handling losses.	D. No Pin holes, uniformity in glaze and bright, shining colours.

DIRECTION FOR USE AND DOSAGES

For the preparation of clay in Refractory & Ceramic Works, Acid resisting Bricks, Tiles, Stoneware pipes & fitting works and other Pottery works - ½ ltr. Claymix liquid dissolved in 200 ltrs. of plain water should be used as a liquid binder.

For ordinary clay materials - 200 ml. Claymix dissolved in 200 ltrs. plain water should be used as a liquid binder or clay preparation, such as Red Bricks, Roof Tiles, Ordinary Clay Earthenware's Terra-Cotta etc.

Use of Claymix in Ceramic Industries

In bone china - 0.15%, solution of "Claymix" i.e. - 150 mls. "Claymix" dissolved in 100 ltrs, of plain water.
In bone ash less china - 0.10% solution of "Claymix" i.e.- 100 mls. of "Claymix" dissolved in 100 ltrs. of plain water.
No Other Chemicals Should be used with "Claymix" in the slip. The Viscosity or fluidity of the slip should be adjusted by controlling the quantity of the added solution of "Claymix" e.g.:

A. During the rainy season, due to the high percentage of humidity in the atmosphere around 2% to 4% less solution will be required. Similarly during summer (May-June) around 2% to 4% more solution will be required.

B. For preparation of glaze 0.05% solution of "Claymix" to be used, i.e. 50 mls. of "Claymix" dissolved in 100 ltrs. of plain water.
