Our springs are straggled individually to ensure each spring is to solid height before checking, unlike most that are strangled to a height somewhere close to solid. We supply a large range of springs starting right from 0.2 mm to 16 mm. Short coil springs that continuously hold the friction and driven plates together through spring tension, preventing slippage except when the clutch lever is engaged. Most often, five or more clutch springs are used per motorcycle clutch assembly. When your foot is off the pedal, the springs push the pressure plate against the clutch disc, which in turn presses against the flywheel. This locks the engine to the transmission input shaft, causing them to spin at the same speed.
