SAKUTECH BG is primarily a modified tamarind kernel powder mainly formulated for printing brasso prints on 100% cotton or cotton polyester blends. It can also be used for stannous chloride discharge printing on polyester fabric. It is cold water soluble, helps dye transfer easily from the gum film, resulting in brighter and deeper prints. SAKUTECH BG easily gets removed during reduction clearing and soaping treatments, maintaining soft feel at the printed portion of the fabrics.

Preparation of Stock Paste

The required quantity of SAKUTECH BG ( 8 kgs) is gradually added to cold water (92 kgs) at room temp (30cc) under high speed stirring. After complete addition, continue stirring for 30 minutes. Leave the paste for minimum 4 hrs or overnight. To accelerate swelling property of the gum thickener, hot water can be used. Filter the paste using nylon or polyester mono Filament 160 mesh filter cloth and use it for preparing brasso or discharge Paste.
