Contact SupplierWe are a well acclaimed sourcing agent of Coal. Coal is the most important source of energy for the country, accounting for more than 51% of the primary energy mix of the country. Although India is one of the largest coal producing nations in the world, because of its huge energy demand, it depends on imported coal. As the energy demand soars, the importance of coal increases. About 74% of the coal in India is consumed in the power sector. As energy needs increase with growth of the Indian economy, the shortfall in domestic supply against the demand is ever increasing.
And most of this shortfall will have to be met through imports. With infrastructure poised for exponential growth, the requirement of Steam Coal and Coking coal is expected to grow at a rapid rate in the coming years. And will sustain over a long term because of India̢۪s huge coastline and ever improving port infrastructure.
