When combined with bottom ash, extracted from the furnace's base, it collectively assumes the nomenclature of coal ash. The specification of Fly Ash varies significantly contingent upon the coal type in use; however, it consistently contains notable quantities of silicon dioxide and calcium oxide (CaO), both intrinsic constituents of numerous coal-bearing rock strata. Fly Ash can be categorized into two types based on the coal used:
