Description
Coarse Bubble Disc Diffuser consists of two parts namely; the support base and a flexible snap-on check diaphragm, manufactured from a specially compounded space-age EPDM based thermoplastic rubber. During aeration, the diaphragm lifts from the base, allowing air to exit through its orifices. When the air stops, the diaphragm instantly sits against the base by the pressure head of liquid, preventing backflow and clogging. The cutting edge design of the diffuser locks on the removal diaphragm is provided to avoid blow off and unusual pressure surges. Available with 3/4" NPT threads in plastic base and stainless steel models, Snap-Cap diffusers handle air flows from 5 m3/hr to 17m3/hr.
