Coated Fabrics

Technically, coated fabrics are flexible composite materials formed by
bonding either one or both sides of the fabric with special adhesives and
coating them precisely with different elastomers*. The curing process
makes the bond between the fabric and the elastomer stronger. This
makes it washable, durable and high on quality.

Kiran™ elastomer coated fabrics excels in performance because of their
special chemical characteristics. Elastomer coated fabrics are very close
textured and therefore exhibit low permeation and diffusion. They can be
electrically conductive, chemically resistant to acids, alkalis, fuels and
oils etc. and it also can be weather and temperature resistant. Kiran™
elastomer coated fabrics are available in a range of thickness ranging
from 0.5 mm up to 50 mm.
