Applications :

• Coaxial cables are used to carry radio signals, video signals, measurement signals and data signals between the shield and the centre conductor. The shield prevents noise and external disturbances thus making the cable characteristics stable in its application. Due to the presence of higher shield coverage, the cable provides less radiation of energy The cables cannot be run on ducts or near metallic objects in ducts or burried under ground to avoid the loss of signals.
• 50 ohms impedance coaxial cables RG-8 and RG-58 are widely used in radio transmission application, since it matches with transmitter antenna types , and also in Ethernet networks, electronics laboratory inter connections like high frequency oscilloscope probes, and high frequency digital applications and high speed data communications.
• 75 ohms impedance coaxial cables RG-6, RG-11 and RG-59 are widely used to carry video signals, TV antenna signals and digital audio signals for audio and telecommunications applications. as well as radio receiver connections at home and at vehicles and high speed data communications.
