COBB Tester, Power Source : Manual Operation

This is a method used for measuring water absorption of sized paper . A weighed test pieces of papers is placed under the cylinder. 100 ml of water is poured over the test piece . after the specified time the water is poured off and the test piece is placed on standard blotting paper is placed on top of the test piece and the excess water is removed by means of the roller the test piece is weighed again and the result are calculated and reported.
