X 200mm ‘CI’ Cobb Tester is a sturdy and precise instrument with non-corrosive all aluminium powder coated body. The instrument is provided with a marker to indicate the exact level of water required, also ensuring uniformity of water level over the samples. A gasketed clamping arrangement for the sample on the underside of the cylinder. Tilting provision has been provided for easy draining of water after test, the cylinder 0 gets locked on turning by180 and the knob can be used as a handle. Also Available is a semi-automatic version with programmable timer and automatic tilting mechanism. A motorised roller arrangement can also be provided as an optional accessory.
OPERATION:
Loosen the bottom bolt according to the PLY/GSM of the board. Place the board between the bottom plate and the cup, tighten the screw so that there is no leakage. Fill the water up to the groove For 1 Min. (or refer standards you follow). Loosen the plate and remove the board carefully, place it on a flat surface. using the roller press the board and then weigh. Note down the weight of the board before and after the procedure.
