COENZYME Q10 (CoQ10) is produced by the human body and is necessary for the basic functioning of cells. CoQ10 is found in abundance in the heart, liver, kidney and brain. It is the life spark that enables our cells to produce the energy that maintains life. It is also a fat-soluble antioxidant.
COENZYME Q10 is also known as ubiquinone, which means "found everywhere". It is found in all cells, and in the highest amounts in the mitochondria, the energy producing "factory" of every cell, which the body produces ATP or energy for cells. Without this mechanism, the human body cannot survive.
