Coil-Saddles

For staging areas or storage of very large coils, the Coil-Saddle® is the perfect solution.
The patented deep cradle fits virtually any size coil and takes up nominal floor space. The unique design offers the versatility of using it as a movable fixture in staging areas or affixed permanently to the storage area floor. Made of bright safety yellow polyurethane and reinforced steel frames, the Coil-Saddle® surprisingly only weighs 45# and can be easily moved out of the way when not in use. This avoids tripping hazards, yet can handle up to a 72” diameter coil.
Another consideration is the fact that a very common cost cutting initiative in our industry has been to reduce packaging or wrapping of coils that are moved short distances throughout the supply chain. Not only does this relieve the production costs but processing time is reduced. The downside is that now the outer wrap is exposed and more easily scratched or dented, therefore, floor protection becomes even more important.
