Cold Rolled Tube

Hot rolled coils, the basic raw material for CR coilssheets, are slitted in required width at HR Slitter. These HR coils have a layer of oxide as rust dust on their surface. Coils are uncoiled and passed through hot hydrochloric acid for chemical treatment to remove rust and scales. Siddhartha has latest push pull technology to avoid uneven pickling and other defects.
Siddhartha has a sophisticated 4 Hi (High Crown) Cold rolling mill having a production capacity of 50,000 TPA. The pickled HR coils of higher gauge are reduced to the required thinner gauge on the 4 Hi Mill in number of passes.
