Colored Glass

JNS Glass & Coatings supplies solid colored glass used for a wide range of industrial and lighting applications. The color is a part of the glass and is produced by mixing various metal oxides in the glass composition. This solid colored glass is not designed to be used as a precision-optic. If you require precise control of the spectral bands or have a very high temperature application, our dichroic coated filters or filter glass would be a better solution.
Most colors available in sizes up to 24” x 48”
MR11 (1.370”) and MR16 (1.965”) diameters for lighting are stocked and readily available from inventory
Can be drilled, silk screened, sandblasted and fabricated to any shape or size
Can be heat strengthened to gain additional thermal shock resistance and mechanical strength
