Column Pipes

Avonplast Column Pipes are specially designed and manufactured under stringent quality standards, to withstand system loads comprising of pump, water and pipe weight with an adequate factor of safety. Avonplast has developed a specialized techniques like STTF (S-Square, T-Tapper, T-Thread, F-Fusion) Locking, Latex Loop and Buttress Thread, of which we are pioneers in India.

A specially designed Latex Loop renders the pipe leak proof and becomes an excellent gripping system. It acts as a motorjerk absorber which increases the life of the submersible pump.

An advanced designed Buttress Thread gives excellent leak-proof gripping under high tensile load for longer time. They are easy to fit and have stress free joints.

Through our extensive Research & Development activities, we have designed a special type of Pipe & Coupler Locking System through STTF-Technology, which gives it a complete safe to locking portion compared to other types of locking systems.

Some of the advantages of STTF-Locking are:

• Bonding between the thread of Pipe and the Coupler is very powerful
• Due to its unique tapper thread design, the pipe’s thickness is concentrated at the joint, which gives maximum strength
• In the process of locking the Pipe & Coupler, there is a strong fusion between the beginning three threads of Pipe and the last three threads of Coupler
• At the end of the locking portion, we have provided a rubber sealing ring which resists the pump vibration and prevents water leakage
