Contact SupplierIn formwork hardware, “super plate” and “combination plate (combi plate)” are very similar parts, but the combi/combination plate is the more general term; a “super plate” is usually the specific plate element or an integrated version with a fixed wing nut.
Basic definitionsSuper plate (slope super plate, Doka super plate, etc.)
A cast or forged plate used with 15/17/20 mm tie rods as a bearing/waler plate, often integrated with a wing nut as a single piece for wall or inclined formwork.
Many designs have the wing nut permanently articulated on the plate (around 5–15°), so the assembly can follow inclined shutters.
Combination plate / combi plate / combi nut
A “combination plate” generally means a wing nut plus a waler plate combined into one accessory, either swivel (pivot) type or rigid type, used for tieārod anchoring in concrete formwork
