Complete Seal Fittings

COMPLETE SEAL fittings are manufactured from galvanized steel meeting spec ASTM A-653 (Lockforming quality) for Spiral Pipe. They feature a double legged EPDM gasket which creates a virtually airtight connection when slipped into spiral pipe. The gasket is mechanically attached to the fitting with a 180 degree hemmed edge. This hem gives added rigidity to the fittings, ensures that the gasket will never slip out of place and makes a safe rounded edge for the installer.
COMPLETE SEAL has been pressure tested and meets the requirements of SMACNA Leakage Class 3 for -10”w.g. to +10”w.g (test data available upon request). Complete Seal gasket has an operating temperature of -40 degrees to +250 degrees Fahrenheit. The smoke and flame spread is 00 in compliance with ASTM E-84-91A.
COMPLETE SEAL fittings are designed to slip snugly into your spiral pipe. Simply insert the fitting to the spiral stop bead and secure with self tapping sheet metal screws. Screws must be placed within one inch of the spiral stop bead and at uniform intervals not to exceed 15” along the circumference. A minimum of three screws must be used on all diameters 14” or less.
