When signal transmission may be altered, shielded versions are available featuring tinned copper or red copper hose; an armored version with anti-oxidation steel hose is also available, in case cables should undergo mechanical damage hazards. The special PVC, halogen-free or polyurethane compounds ensure easy assembly and flexible, multi-purpose applications; moreover, the ID code was designed to be always easy readable and well visible.
The compounds featured by the halogenfree version (UNIATOX 800) do not release toxic gases, dioxins or corrosive acids in case of fire. Their application is therefore suitable in high risk areas with elevated population density. Health protection goes along with environmental protection. in fact, these cables can be fully recycled after usage, and since no release of acid substances occurs in case of fire, the risk of severe building damages is considerably reduced.
The employed materials feature also high flexibility, mechanical strength and an excellent resistance to chemicals.
