What is the usage of repair strip purchased in power plants?
As important transport system in power plant ,conveyor belt will affect the efficiency of the entire enterprise in case of halting.
Repair strip can made conveyor belt back to work immediately after being repaired. this is also the significant cause of they purching repair strip .
Repair strip also named conveyor belt band-aid, which is one kind belt repair material in common use.
Its advantages such as fast , easy to use and efficient made it become one of the indispensable material for conveyor belt repair.
Usage:
Be boned on damages parts and prevent damage enlarging while being fused with it . Made conveyor belt recover and achieve the purpose of the conveyor belt repair.
Application:
1.Partly wear or piercing.
2.Longitudinal scratches.
3. Conveyor belt joint.
Kind of conveyor belt:
According to whether including fabric layer, there are two kinds as follow:
1, reinforced repair strip (with fabric layer)
2, normal repair strip(without fabric layer)
Comparing with normal repair strips, reinforced ones with one more fabric layer, and have obvious advantege in respect of tensile, abrasion resistance and impact resistance.
According to the size, there are several kinds as follow:
repair strip(without fabric layer) :2.2mm×100mm×10000mm；3.2mm×150mm×10000mm；3.2mm×220mm×10000mm；3.4mm×300mm×10000mm；3.4mm×400mm×10000mm
repair strip (with fabric layer):3.6mm×100mm×10000mm；4.6mm×150mm×10000mm；4.6mm×220mm×10000mm；4.8mm×300mm×10000mm；4.8mm×400mm×10000mm
From above we know there are many kinds of repair strip,we can choose appropriate items according to Conveyor belt type, degree of damage, and damage size.
Bonding repair strip need depend on the vulcanizing of cold glue ,which will made repair strip be fused with damage part. so the choose of glue is more important.
