We design and fabricate conveyors of many kinds for multiple applications. Everyone has standard features, but our standards are higher.
design standards
•available in standard belt widths of 24", 30", 36", 42", 48", 54" 60" & 72".
•sandblasted to spc-2 specifications, then painted with a dual coating of primer and polyurethane
enamel paint to a 6 mil thickness.
•drives available from 5 - 300 hp, applied according to agma class I (normal duty),
•frames available in both standard and customer configurations
•standard pmi configurations include:
◦lattice truss frames, constructed with 3-1/2", 4", 5" and 6" chord angles
◦24", 36", 48" and 60" frame depths.
◦truss depth and chord members sized per application requirement.
◦channel frames are available constructed of 8" and 10" channel main members in sections up to 30' long.
•8' x 8' gallery truss for long spans with integral 8" channel frame and walkway for long-span applications
•bolt together truss sections.
•welded truss available upon request
guards
•we provide guards for drives, return idlers, gravity take-ups, and pulley nip points to accommodate msha
federal safety standards guidelines.
•simplified mounting of guards allows quick removal and replacement for equipment inspections
and maintenance. Receiving troughs
•adjustable rubber flashing on both sides and rear.
•guards in flashing area.
•extensions over and above rock box are for radial requirements.
gravity take-up
•incorporate two bend pulleys and one heavy duty winged take-up pulley.
•available with remote take-up weight tower.
•available in pendulum-type configuration or with side weights for low head-room applications.
screw take-up
•tail-mounted screw take-up is totally enclosed in a heavy-duty tube-in-tube design.
•cover protects threads from dirt and material.
•equipped with acme threaded rod, 1-1/4", available in 9" to 36" travel lengths.
•can utilize any standard pillow block bearings
optional walkways
•2' wide expanded metal construction with toe boards and angle handrails.
•walkway widens for easy passage around drive sections.
•head and tail walk-arounds available for easy access to pulley bearings.
•conveyor cross overs available for conveyors equipped with walkways on both sides.
•emergency pullstops with cables mounted to side of truss.
beltscrapers
•contoured single segment blade maintains even surface tension across entire head pulley.
•2-sided cantilever gravity tensioner for constant, even tensioning through entire blade life.
•easily adjustable weight segments.
•integrated nip guard mounting design for added pinch point safety and consistent blade positioning.
•safety pin blade securement for ease in blade removal and replacement.
tail sections
•equipped with heavy-duty self-cleaning wing pulleys.
•screw take-ups to 36" travel.
•screw take-ups can be applied on conveyors up to 120' long.
•take-ups are mounted on the outside of the conveyor frame to prevent safety
hazard during adjustment and they are removable for maintenance. Head sections
•pulleys, bushings, bearings, and shafts included.
•pulleys lagged with herringbone or slide lagging.
•grease lines mounted to walkway side, making it convenient to grease bearings.
•optional mild steel discharge hood, with or without ar liners and directional spout.
