Cooling Pad

A laptop skin is a precision-cut vinyl adhesive material, usually with some design, photograph, or other image, designed for application to the outside of a laptop, usually on the back of the LCD screen.

Laptop skins are designed to be durable and to give laptops a unique, customized look while also protecting the laptop from scratches and other damage from wear and tear. Laptop skins can also be used for branding purposes, promoting a company name, product, or cause.

Laptop skins come in different materials and quality. The following are some desirable characteristics:

• fine printing quality with colors that won't fade easily
• no sticky residue upon removal
• waterproof and scratchproof
• reusable and durable

Cooler Pad

A laptop/notebook cooler, cooler pad or chill mat is an accessory for laptop computers that helps reduce their operating temperature. Normally used when the laptop is unable to sufficiently cool itself. Laptop coolers are intended to protect both the laptop from overheating and the user from suffering heat related discomfort.

A cooling pad may house active or passive cooling methods and rests beneath the laptop. Active coolers move air or liquid to direct heat away from the laptop quickly, while passive methods may rely on thermally conductive materials or increasing passive airflow.
