The pcf1800 series cooling towers are field erected induced draft counter flow type with pvc film flow fill packing as the heat exchange media designed for continuous heavy duty industrial application.
Pcf 1800 series towers are generally used for indirect cooling processes where circulation cooling water is relatively clean or treated and free of any contamination from the process such as oil and grease, foreign materials or debris. Circulation water quality is treated and make up water to the system always maintained below the continuous operating temperature of 50 degree while intermittent temperature should not exceeding 55 degree. Operating environment for the cooling towe is preferably free from severe air pollution where airborne particles such as dust and fibrous materials should not be constantly present in the cooling tower surrounding. Typical applications are heat exchangers, chillers, condensers,equipment water jackets nd cooling coil for process. For applications where circulation water is not treated or make up water is not treated and total suspended solids are expected to be high, special fill packing media with non-clogging design will be used. Typical application is cooling tower for power generation plants where condenser cooling is using untreated water.
