Colour and Smell: Colour of the dried fruit bodies varies from deep orange to dark having typical mushroom like smell.

For daily use: At morning, take 1 or a ½ leaf (i.e. 1 or ½ fruit body) of C. militaris in a cup and pour 100 ml warm water over it. Drink the liquor and finally consume the fruit body.
