Corrugated tubes and pipes generate heat transfer coefficients up to 2-12 times greater than equivalent prime surface tubes. Continuous spiral indentations promote swirl flow and prohibit boundary layer formation for excellent efficiency gains for moderate and high viscosity fluids. Corrugated tubes are ideal for fluids with entrained solids or fibers due to minimal flow area obstruction.
