Ivermectin 12 Tablet belongs to the class of anti-parasitic medicines, also known as anthelmintics. It is a widely used medication to treat various infections caused by parasites, including strongyloidiasis (a roundworm infection) and control onchocerciasis (a worm infection that affects skin and eyes).

It is used to treat a variety of internal nematode infections, including Onchocerciasis, Strongyloidiasis, Ascariasis, cutaneous larva migrans, filariases, Gnathostomiasis and Trichuriasis, as well as for oral treatment of ectoparasitic infections, such as Pediculosis (lice infestation) and scabies (mite infestation).

It is used to treat gastrointestinal worms in horses, cattle, pigs, and other livestock, as well as lungworms, lice, mites, and grubs in certain animals. In dogs and cats, ivermectin is used to prevent heartworm
