Crimp Cross Section Analysis System

Inspects Crimp Cross Section for various dimensions and defects. It is a fully self-contained unit – consisting of crimp cutting / grinding & etching unit, small foot print PC, Monitor, KB/Mouse. No need to connect to a separate PC.

 Uses high resolution industrial color camera with integrated light and lens

 Measures and records all relevant crimp parameters – crimp width, height, support angle, burr width and height, CFE, DFE, base thickness, enclosed area, strand count

 Unique crimp holder makes it easy to locate the crimp and get a good image. No changing of sample between cutting, grinding and inspection. Etching unit is chemical / electrolytic.

 High Magnification gives high measurement accuracy

 Crimp size – up to 8 / 20 sq. mm

 Zoom In ‘Magnify’ option allows user to view crimp cross section more closely

 Creates reports in IMAGE, PDF and MS XLS formats
