Pale yellow camphor scented which yields an essential oil.Medicinal Uses : An aromatic bitter digestive stimulant, zedoary is used in as much the same way as ginger ,ingiber officinale to relieve indigestion, nausea, flatulence and bloating, and generally to improve digestion. The rhizome is also used to treat certain types of tumours.
