Customs clearance is the act of taking goods through the customs authority to facilitate the movement of cargo into a country (import) and outside the country (export). Custom Clearance is the process which involves the documentation and procedures related to export and import of goods and services into the country. In India there are separate customs authorities that deal with the documentation and process related to customs.
