Custom Fume Hoods

Custom hoods and enclosures are specifically engineered to meet customer specific applications and requirements. From modifying a simple front open space to accommodating any specific equipment like reactors and pilot plant enclosures, Kewaunee's technical team can work with the client’s team to design and identify the right fume hood apt for the application.

The Kewaunee team designs and builds the product, and then extensively tests the actual hood at the factory for containment and other standard tests. Further, clients are recommended to witness the ASHRAE tests conducted under factory conditions.

Kewaunee also conducts comprehensive ASHRAE 110 tests together with velocity and/or smoke tests after the hoods are installed at the customer’s project site.
