Contact SupplierNutritional supplement labels are very different from the other product labels we produce in that you need to be aware of the FDA requirements that must be displayed on your packaging before your vitamins can be sold or marketed. At ZipTape Label ID Systems, we have been designing and printing labels for over 30 years and have a solid understanding of the FDA requirements so that you can sleep soundly.
One of the most important aspects to keep in mind when designing a vitamin label is the text. Because of the large amount of consumer text (instructions, allergy information, benefits, etc.), it can be difficult to find enough blank space on the bottle to display the information. Because of this, it is important that you choose the correct fonts and colors to make sure the consumer information is easily legible. When choosing the type of label you would like to surround your vitamin bottle or container, a popular approach is to use a separate front and back label. That way, you can design a front label without worrying so much about the consumer information and strictly concentrate on the aesthetic appeal and then design a back label concentrating more on consumer text. The other major benefit of having a separate back label is that if you need to change some of the consumer text, you don't have to worry about modifying the front label.
