CYCLONE

A cyclonic separation is a method of removing particulates from an air, gas or liquid stream, without the use of filters. When removing particulate matter from liquids, a hydro cyclone is used; while from gas, a gas cyclone is used. Rotational effects and gravity are used to separate mixtures of solids and fluids. The method can also be used to separate fine droplets of liquid from a gaseous stream.

Unlike other pollution control equipment, Cyclone can be designed at severe conditions like high temperature, high dust load, and high-pressure applications giving best possible filtration efficiencies. Cyclone can work with different gases & dust. Multi-Cyclones are offered to handle larger volumes of hot gas and to achieve better emission standards. Mostly used for flue gas filtration from Boilers, Kilns etc. where the operating temperature is high.
