We are offering cAll wet and dry Cylinder Liners are made by centrifugal casting. Air cooled Cylinder Liners are made by Shell molding.

Foundry: Current capacity is one million Kg per annum/250,000 nos. Cylinder Liners per annum.

Raw Material: Finest foundry grade scrap from ship yard and Pig Iron from Kirloskar Company is used for manufacture of Cylinder Liners. For proper chemistry, microstructure, physical properties and hardness re-melting of machined chips is strictly avoided.

Melting: Done by Induction furnace with on line spectrometer for correct percentage of alloying elements. Use of alloys like Copper, Molybdenum, Nickel and Chromium is used as demanded by application.ylinder liners.

Machine Shop facilities:

Present capacity of machine shop is 250,000 Cylinder Liners per year.

Cylinder Liners are made using conventional and Special Purpose machines. Final operations on outer profile is done on CNC. Fully finished Cylinder Liners are honed on plateau machines for accuracy of ovality/taper and required “Ra” value of surface finish.

Inspection: Done at incoming raw material level, casting level for chemical, physical and microstructure analysis, Statistical size inspection on machined product, 100% checking of bore size parameter and visual inspection.

Cylinder Liners are available in :

Bore size: 60mm to 400 mm

Length: Up to 500 mm.

Material: As required ASTM, DIN, ISO standard in CI, SG/Ductile/nodular casting with heat treatment.

Surface finish: Phosphated, Chrome plated bore, Chrome plated OD, Fully Nitrating

Heat Treatment: Induction hardened bore, Stabilized heat treatment, Thorough heat Treatment.

Current Range: Over 3000 types for Cars, Hand and mechanized Tractors, Trucks, Earth Movers, Marine, Agricultural and Industrial applications

“Neptune” produces Cylinder liners compatible to KolbenSchmidt reference number.

“Neptune” produces Cylinder liners compatible to Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) reference number.

we have own manufacturing of Cylinder Liners (Dry, wet and Air-cooled/Finned) & Piston pins, with plant capacity of over 250,000 pieces of Cylinder Liners and 200,000 Piston Pins per annum with own foundry arrangements producing 1 million kilos of casting.
Other parts such as Pistons, Piston Rings, Connecting rods, Engine Valves & Seats, Hydraulic Parts for Tractors, Synchonizer rings, Flywheel Ring gears & Submercible pump parts are quality controlled using full in-house facilities of technical men power, inspection equipments and testing laboratory. The future plans are to offer parts that are only produced in house to benefit customer with competitive prices, assured quality and timely deliveries.

Our deep roots
But all this what company is today was started in 1960 as a company dealing in various Agricultural Engines and its parts, trading mainly in Indian market. In 1969, we commenced our export activity, spreading wings over 8 overseas markets under brand name of “Anex”. In 1972, we finally dedicated ourselves as 100% Export Company.
In 1985, we established our own quality control department employing technical personnel, inspection equipments with a view to step up quality of our parts as we were to enter highly sophisticated European market with Engine parts for Tractor, Trucks and other various Automobiles. A new brand “Neptune” was floated to cater to more demanding Automobile segment of market of East and West Europe, Latin America and USA. Gradually we shifted our activity from low tech Agricultural parts to high tech and critical core engine parts such as Liner, Pistons, Rings, Connecting rods, Camshafts and Lubricating Oil pumps.
