Daclatasvir is used along with another medication (sofosbuvir [Solvadi]) to treat a certain type of chronic hepatitis C (an ongoing viral infection that damages the liver). Daclatasvir is in a class of antiviral medications called hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5A inhibitors.   Daclatasvir is used with another antiviral medication (sofosbuvir) to treat chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C, a viral infection of the liver. Daclatasvir should never be used without sofosbuvir. Daclatasvir and sofosbuvir may also be used with another antiviral medication (ribavirin).
