DC Brush Starter Generator

The SAI-APC starter generator Line was designed for the starting of turbine engines and APU’s. The starter generator is used as an engine-driven source of DC power and is normally rated at 28-30 volts with a continuous load of 150-400 Amps over a speed range of 6,900 – 12,000 RPM depending on the requirements.
SAI has focused on product reliability in order to offer extended Time Between Overhaul (TBO) intervals to our customers through the improvement of brush and bearing life as well as cooling optimization.
Our starter generators can be found on many commercial business jets and helicopters as well as UAV’s and regional jets supporting the main engines and APU’s.
