Contact SupplierA precisely defined gas mixture is placed in the pressure chamber by means of a gas metering system and ignited. The subsequent combustion creates temperatures of 2500-3300°C, during which the burr to be removed reaches its ignition temperature and reacts with the excess oxygen in the pressure chamber. This leads to complete combustion of the burr within 20 ms.
The TEM procedure offers the particular advantage of removing internal burrs (such as in holes) as well as burrs on external surfaces. The procedure can be applied to various materials like steel, cast-iron, aluminum, or even plastic.
