DIATOSIL is 100% Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth. DiatoSiL is a very efficient pest control aid. Due to the non-chemical action, it is highly effective against a wide range of insects. Its mechanical modus operandi (abrasive and absorptive properties) does not allow insects to become immune to the internal and external physical damages caused by DE. Effectively kills many different types of insects, including aphids, ants, mites, cockroaches, and earwigs. 
DiatoSiL is OMRI certified for use as an aid element in pest control of organic growing of fruits and vegetables.  Diatomaceous Earth is a chalky like material made from the fossilised remains of diatoms, microscopic single organism celled algae, which make shells for themselves out of silica. The powerful dehydrating properties of DiatoSil makes your pest and disease control programs enhance their effectiveness. 
 
Application: DiatoSiL can be applied DRY or WET. Deciding what application method to use may depend on factors such as atmospheric conditions: humidity and wind; also available PPE and tools can influence on it.  Apply directly where insects are found.
 
We recommend wet applications for warm and dry locations. Make a 2-5% slurry mix and keep constant agitation to prevent sedimentation. Make sure the plants or place where product will be applied are dry.
 
For dry applications make sure you are wearing the correct PPE in a ventilated area. Use a hand or power duster.
 
Dose: 8 -20 Kg per acre dose. Repeat treatment as necessary to maintain adequate control.
