DIE DESIGN & MANUFACTURING FOR FUEL RAILS IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
Centaur recently designed and built a series of dies that would be used to produce fuel rails for the large truck and automotive industry. Designed using Solid Edge CAD software, these dies were made from D2, A2, and HRS commercial steel – metals chosen for their superior hardness and wear-resistance. We additionally manufactured all product holes and intricate features using wire EDM machinery. To make certain that these dies satisfied our client's high expectations for quality, we inspected all fixtures and performed 30 pc runoff in our shop to ensure customer approval. Our high-quality dies not only matched all customer supplied print dimensions, they also fulfilled automotive standards.
