Company’s Digital Friability Test Apparatus is a precision instrument for measuring obression strength of the tablets. The Friability Test Apparatus is designed as per IP/USP standards. The unit is equipped with two transparent acrylic drums which rotate at a speed of 25 +/- 1 rpm. Each of the two acrylic drums are provided with an arm which carries the tablets along with it up to a predetermined height and allows them to fall from that specified height, while the drums are rotating. It is fitted with a digital revolution counter showing the current number of revolutions for the test. A thumb wheel switch is used to set the desired number of rotations. Provision is made to remove the lid of the acrylic drum by unscrewing just one knob. This is available in 1 drum and 2 drum assemblies.

Digital Friability Test Apparatus (Double Drum) (VSI-17) measures Obsession Strength of Tablets with programmable timer.  Rotation Speed 25 rpm +/- 1, Auto & Manual mode of operation with 2 acrylic drums.  Results are displayed on 3 digit pre-settable control.

Digital Friability Test Apparatus (Single Drum) (VSI-18) measures Obsession Strength of Tablets with programmable timer.  Rotation Speed 25 rpm +/- 1, Auto & Manual mode of operation with 1 acrylic drum.  Results are displayed on 3 digit pre-settable control.

Microprocessor Friability Apparatus (Double Wheel) (VSI-16) measures the tendency of a tablet to chip or breakdown to pieces when held under mechanical stresses.  It uses the latest microcontroller, 20x4 lines alphanumeric LCD display with backlit, soft touch membrane type keys, Rotational speed of drums can be set at different speeds (20-60 rpm).  The samples can be loaded and unloaded conveniently without removing the drums, USB interface for computer connection available.
