Glass Digital Precision Malting Point App

"LI" make This instrument is same as LI 32C. It is equipped with a magnifier to observe the tips of the melting point capillaries holding the samples to be tested. Instead of the conventional glass thermometer, it is fitted with highly sensitive PT-100 sensor and the temp. is indicated on a digital readout. A press button is provided which is to be pressed when the desired change is noticed in the sample under test. The temp. reached at that stage is then held on the readout, till the `CLEAR' button is pressed. The readings obtained are therefore quite accurate, as the operator can concentrate on the visual observation of the sample without looking on to the thermometer.
