Digital Video Recorder

The Observer 4100 was designed as a simple yet effective digital video recorder, able to withstand the vibration requirements of any in-vehicle recording environment. The Observer 4100 records audio and video from up to four cameras, location data from built-in GPS, as well as metadata from a large array of sensors – all on reliable, solid state SD cards. Combined with built-in web server, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet, the Observer 4100 is a simple yet effective recording and communications platform. The system utilizes the latest H.264 video compression format to record the highest quality video while maximizing storage times. Resolution, frame rate and quality settings are configurable for each channel and include separate settings for continuous, scheduled, and event-based recordings.
