In any power plant measurement of emissions, and gases is critical. In many cases, measurement of emission gases stack sample should be diluted by using zero air before supplying to the analyzer.
Axis makes Dilution Probe controller DPC001 is used with a Dilution probe to measure stack emissions released in coal-fired power plants.
Regulating zero air by pressure regulator controller supplies dilution air to the probe. The dilution probe mixes the zero air with the sample as per the dilution ratio and supplies the diluted sample back to the Controller. With help of the flow meter(s), the needle valve controller will supply diluted samples to Analyzer(s) as per its requirement. A vacuum gauge is fitted in the controller to monitor the condition of the Dilution probe.
